Hi…my name is Emerald.
One day a few months ago, I wandered through a lovely lady’s door and decided to stay until I had my kittens (that was my big surprise for her after she’d had me a few weeks!). She kept me while I raised my babies and would have kept me forever, but she already had a 15 year-old cat that I didn’t get along with, so unfortunately (for me!) he took precedence. I am a 3-4 year old, newly spayed, all black lady who is very affectionate and loving with my person. The staff at the vet’s office where I went for my shots and spay even commented on my ease of handing, sweetness and friendliness (and they see a LOT of cats!). My rescuer was very sad to have to give me up, and when she wrote down a lot of stuff about me, she ended by saying "She spent her time with me as Momma Cat, but is leaving as Emerald: I know she is a gem and deserves to be the #1 cat in the house." Now isn’t that something?
