Hi…my name is Taffy.

I arrived at TALGV almost a year ago when I was just eight weeks old. In no time flat, I was adopted (along with my brother, Butterscotch) by a young family who had three kids and two dogs. Everything was going great for us until my brother and I started having some territorial issues (we both wanted to be “top cat” in the house), so our people felt it best that we find new, individual homes. I am a striking orange tabby guy (now 11 months old) who gets along with everyone (even the dogs!), and is generally a gentle and quiet guy. With all the comings and goings of the kids and dogs in the house, I’ve made a few “escape to the great outside” moves, but if you keep an eye on me provide me with other stuff to do, I’ll forget that in a jiffy. I have also been known to get on furniture and give the old counter-jump a try, but that’s actually pretty standard behavior for a cat! There are a lot of people who really LIKE to have a furry friend on the sofa or chair next to them, so if you’re one of them, I’ll bet we’d get along just fine!
