Hi…my name is Blue.
Once you get a gander at my beautiful coat, you’ll know how "Blue" came to be! I am a gorgeous (if I do say so myself!), 1-year-old, blue/black boxer/terrier mix, spayed lady who weighs 55 pounds, and is all wiggles, big slurps, and enthusiasm. My first person got me as "company" but then found that he couldn’t keep up with the cost of caring for a canine companion. Then I became the "neighborhood dog" and had to fend for myself for a while (although the people in "the neighborhood" did feed me now and then). Finally, a fantastic family took me in, but they already had 4 dogs, 4 cats, and 2 kids (how exciting is that?), so they couldn’t keep me forever. They say that now that I’m no longer in my "survival" mode, I have learned to stay in my crate during naps and at night, I’ve learned "sit," "come," "lie down," "wait," "quiet," and "drop it." I still need to have my new people spend time letting me know what’s what in doggie/human behavior, but once I have that under my belt, I’ll be the most beautiful, loving, grateful dog you’ve ever had!
