Hi…my name is Diego.

Guys like me are one of life’s little pleasures! I am the quintessential Chihuahua (mix they say) who loves to be right next to you (or in your lap) all day long, sleep next to you at night, and just generally be a big part of your life. How I ended up here is a mystery because I am the sweetest, most outgoing boy in the world. I was found at a rest stop along the Interstate, so I was either callously abandoned, or there is someone out there frantically looking for me right now. In any case, unless they show up pretty soon, I’m going to make some lucky family a wonderful present for the holidays. I am about a year and a half old, weigh, 6½ pounds (“lap size” that’s called!), and have a handsome dark mask above my curious brown eyes. I’ve been checked over by the vet, given all my shots, and pronounced perfectly healthy, so all I need now is a new home that I’ll never have to worry about leaving again. Will it be yours?
