Hi…my name is Dutch.

I am one handsome, brindle and white specimen of a Boxer/terrier mix guy who was found along the side of the road near Anamax Park in Sahuarita last July. You can tell by my beautiful “pearly whites” that I’m still a pretty young guy – probably around a year and a half old – so I’ve still got the “rambunctiousness” that’s typical of fellows my age. After I’d been here for quite a while, they wanted to see how I would behave in a “real” home situation, so I recently went to live with a foster mom for a week. You can “read all about it” in her notes, but here are some of the excerpts: “I found Dutch to be calm, quiet, gentle and affectionate. Dutch is not a barker, doesn’t jump on me or my guests, and stays fairly calm at home, which is quite different from what he appears in the kennel. Although he pulls on a choke collar, he does well with a “gentle leader” (but he's not crazy about having it put on!). He knows basic commands (sit, stay, down, and come). He plays rough and tumble with big dogs, so take it very slow (maybe avoid dog parks as there are a lot of “unknowns” there). Dutch will make a great pet for an active, EXPERIENCED, dog owner.” Anyway, there’s LOTS more information about me at TALGV, so why don’t you come down, read it, and meet me?
