Hi…my name is George.

I was found with my girlfriend, Gracie (as in Burns and Allen for those of you who remember!) on Bucking Horse Road in Sahuarita in mid-January. The great people who found us had us for two weeks, and they said that in that time we got along beautifully with their three kids (ranging in age from 11 to15 and their other dog and cats – seven in all!). Well, I suppose you can guess that with a  family that size, it would have been hard to add two more critters to the mix, so they brought us here so that we would be able to find new homes of our very own. I am a 2-year-old, ruggedly handsome, mostly tan, medium-haired, shepherd/Husky mix who weighs 50 pounds. Since I lived outside pretty much most of the time I was with my rescuers, they’re not sure about my house manners, but given my eagerness to please, I know that once you show me the ropes a few times, I’ll have all that down pat. As with any guy my age, I will benefit from some formal obedience training, but spending that kind of time with me will just cement our bond (and reward you with one perfectly behaved dog!).
