Hi…my name is Jade.

My mom, Pretty Girl, was abandoned in a house two years ago when her owner moved away, and she has lived there by herself (until my five brothers and sisters came along that is!) ever since. The wonderful next door neighbor was feeding us and spending as much time with us as he could, but he simply couldn’t keep all of us since he already had four dogs and two cats! When the animal control people wanted to take us away, our rescuer finally felt that it was time to take action, so he prevailed on TALGV to take all of us in. We are 10-week-old, tan and white Boxer mixes (I am light tan with a white chest and white toes), who are still a bit apprehensive around people, but are learning to trust them more and more each day. We are starting to love playing with all the neat toys they have here, and the volunteers are spending a lot of time letting us know that humans really are okay! So if you decide that you have the time and patience to train a high-spirited bundle of enthusiasm, you’ll be amply rewarded with a faithful friend for life!
