Hi… My name is Jesse.
I am a handsome, 3-year old, brindle-colored neutered black Lab mix who thrives on structure. I prefer a home with adults where I know what my rules are and I’m very comfortable when things are at an even pace. I get along well with dog-friendly cats, am very treat motivated, well-trained in obedience (sit, stay, wait, and heel, and walking well on a leash are my strong suits!) and I’m perfectly crate- and house-trained. Sometimes I bark when strangers approach my own "personal space" and home, but that is something that we could work on together (although I would be a great watch dog!). I am looking for a home with someone who has patience and understanding, and when given further work with a trainer (which TALGV will provide), I know I’ll develop many more social skills. I want nothing more than to return love and joy to my new family. Maybe that could be you?
