Hi…my name is Marley.
My siblings and I were rescued when we just wee tykes by some great people who simply didn't have room for three bouncing baby puppies (not too many people do!). Unfortunately, I was born with a "bum" back leg. Although X-rays show some problem with both my hip and the knee, everyone agrees that it doesn’t need surgery, as I’ve overcome that "handicap" very nicely, thank you. About a year ago, I went to live with a wonderful, single lady who loved me to pieces. Unfortunately, she had to work a lot, and didn’t have enough time to spend with me, so she thought I’d do better in a home where I’d be more part of the daily family life. I am a 18-month-old, tan, Lab mix, who loves to go for long walks, chew on bones (not the real ones!), and just generally be with my person (or people). I like to play with other large dogs, but don’t get on too well with the little ones or cats, so I’d do best as the only guy (canine!) in your life. I have perfect house manners even when my mom is away for a long time, so all you need to do is give me some love and a place and family of my own, and I’ll take care of the rest!
