Hi…my name is Mylo.
My brother, Colby, and I are 18-month-old, Catahoula/Queensland heeler mixes who had to leave our family because of HOA restrictions (I guess they thought we were too big, but I think that I’m just the picture of manliness at 65 pounds!). We’ve lived with our people since we were only six weeks old, so leaving them has really been hard on us. I am a handsome red and white guy who loves people and gets along fine with kids (there were three in our family, ages 7, 14, and 18), cats and even a rat (but that’s probably not something I’ll encounter in most homes!). My people made a point of saying that I am very loving and that I think I am a “momma dog” – so I guess they thought that was a good thing! Although I haven’t had any formal obedience training, I do know hand signals for “quiet,” “sit,” and “lay” and am perfectly housebroken (I “ask” to go out when the need arises). Still being a puppy (in doggie years), I am very playful and need to have things to entertain me – stuffed animals, chew toys and the like – and lots of interaction with the family to keep my mind occupied. But then when play is over, I want to be as near to you as I can. So if you’d like a good-sized, red and white canine “shadow,” then I’d be perfect for you.
