Hi…my name is Precious.
It’s hard to think of a dog my size as “precious,” but that’s exactly what I am! I’m a beautiful, gentle, 5-year-old, female, German shepherd mix who is housebroken, leash trained, and has had basic obedience training. When I was just a tiny puppy I was found in a dumpster with my five siblings. My rescuer managed to find homes for all of them, but she kept me because I was weak and blind (at the time) and needed special care. With all the love and attention I got, I recovered beautifully (my sight is just fine now) and I became my savior’s “precious” friend. Sadly, she is ill now and recuperating at a place where she can’t keep me, so she is hoping that TALGV will be able to find me a home that loves me as much as she did. I have lived with other dogs and cats and got along fine with them, as well as children in the “above 10” age group (the little ones are a bit too frisky for me!). I am a won derful watch dog for my people and am supremely affectionate. All I need is another loving home and a chance to share my love and loyalty.
