Hi…my name is Rodger.

Although I weighed 82 pounds when I arrived at TALGV, the volunteers said that I was “skin and bones” – so that will give you a clue that when I’m back to being my healthy self and all “filled out,” I’m going to be a pretty big guy! I was found in Sahuarita Park East… past the pecan groves, and it was pretty apparent that I’d been living a hard life for awhile. I have a few scars and lumps from something I encountered in my past, but with all that, they say I am the sweetest, most lovable guy in the world. I am what appears to be a purebred, black and tan, Rottweiler (not neutered when I was found, but that will be taken care of in short order!) who just needs lots of love and attention to turn me into the wonderful companion we Rotties are known to be. If you’d like a BIG guy in your life, you could do no better than me. And I promise to repay your kindness with many years of canine love and loyalty.
