Hi…my name is Shasta.
I give new meaning to the word "fuzzball!" I am one very round, furry, energetic, and sweet black and tan shepherd/chow mix girl, who is another foundling, I’m afraid. I was scooped up on Sahuarita Road near Wilmot by caring man who, although he wanted to, was unable to keep me (a puppy is a BIG responsibility you know!). I am about 4 months old, and am simply mad about everyone – people and other dogs (probably even cats too, as I’m pretty malleable at this age!). At my current almost 14 pounds, I will probably be a medium-sized dog when I’m grown. Naturally I am going to need to have some basic puppy training soon (it’s good to get started early they say), and then hopefully my new people will take me for more exciting and challenging "regular" obedience classes so that I will be the perfect companion. I’m sure that would be fun for all of us!
