Hi…my name is Stella.
I’m a lovely 2-year-old, brown and black Australian/German shepherd mix lady who has lived with four other large dogs and older kids all my life. My mom recently decided that it was just too much to keep us all, so she brought me here (along with my son, Nicky) so that I’d be able to find a place where I didn’t get “lost in the crowd.” I love playing with toys, balls, and to just be with you, so it would be nice if I didn’t have to share my new person with a whole passel of other critters. I am perfectly housebroken and ask to go outside. (I didn’t have a doggie door at my old home, but I’ve learned to use one here at TALGV and they’re pretty neat!) I know the “down, sit, and out” commands, and would love to learn lots more if you have the time and inclination to go to obedience school with me. My only “shortcoming” is that I don’t get along well with small dogs, but of course that wouldn’t be a problem if I were an “only child” would it? Come meet me – you’ll be really glad you did!
