Hi…my name is Trooper.

I was found at La Posada by some great people, but, much to my regret, they couldn’t keep me. Luckily, things were relatively slow here that day at TALGV (well, as slow as they ever get!), so they had room to take me in. I am a delightful, black and tan, neutered, shepherd mix boy who is about one year old and as smart as can be. I weigh 50 pounds, so that’s pretty much where I’ll end up – not lap size, but that perfect “snuggle up next to you” size! Since no one knows anything about my past, all we have to go on is my good cheer, exuberance, and eagerness to learn, so if you know shepherds (and oftentimes the mixes really are the best!), then you know that with a bit of patience, training, and love, I’ll become one of the best pals you ever had! Why don’t you give me a chance?
