Hi… my name is Russell  (aka Rusty Boy).

It’s amazing how some cats adjust really well to changes in their lives and others just don’t quite know how to handle them. Sadly, I fall into the latter category. Although I was a loving, active guy who enjoyed watching TV with my mom and snuggling next to her when she was reading, when I came to TALGV after I lost her, I sort of withdrew into my shell and haven’t been able to get that “loving feeling” back yet. But everyone agrees that with kindness and patience, a quiet, older “cat person” would undoubtedly help me regain my old “just wanna be loved” personality. I’m also old enough now to have Free Vet Care for Life, so my dream is to find a home where I can while away the hours doing that again.

(P.S. I am known as Russell here because there was a Rusty at TALGV when I arrived.)
