Hi… my name is Samantha (aka Sasha),

I’m still a young puppy, but there’s one thing I already know for sure: Dogs without a home are very lucky to be brought here! It was a steamy hot summer day when my siblings and I, just 4 months old, were found alone on the street. Our kind finder brought us here, where the volunteers, our new best friends, continue to give us the care we need. Of course, I still have lots to learn. Every puppy does! But I also have lots to give. Love, laughter, and loyalty all come with a puppy like me. If you’d like to add some happy puppy company to your days and have the time and patience to continue teaching me the important lessons I need to learn, I’d love to be your lucky dog forever. PIPER is a smart, playful, and obedient 2-year-old, 35-pound, Lab/Hound mix female who needs a new home. She is crate trained, leash trained, and house trained but her limit for being alone is about 8 hours. She quickly learns, enjoys training, and obeys commands “sit,” “down,” “side,” and “kennel.” She is in good health, spayed, up to date on shots, and medical records are available. Piper is energetic and loves long walks, playing fetch and with her toys. She is good with other dogs and small children; cats are unknown. There is no adoption fee. Buddy

Hi… my name is Buddy,

I was just a puppy when I was adopted from TALGV 8 years ago. Because of unforeseen circumstances, my family had to find a new home, but they couldn’t find one that would allow dogs, namely me. I’m now 9 years old and, as you can see, I’ve grown into a handsome Border Collie mix boy. I’m good in the house, gentle, know how to “sit,” and walk well on a leash. I enjoy playing with tough, appropriate chew toys, but soft toys should never be included on my wish list. I lived with two children (4 and 10) but might do better with older children. I don’t like thunderstorms, but I do love to run, jog, and go on hikes, and I’d REALLY love to go home with you and be your faithful “Buddy” for life.

Originally, when first arriving here, there were three of us; Dotty, Evie, and me. Since the other two were bonded, I was happy to see them go home together, with their new, proud parents. I had joined the little family sometime after the other two, and even though we all got along very well, I never actually bonded with them. I’m an outgoing, self-proclaimed lap dog who’s incredibly sweet. I love people, being petted, and having someone make a fuss over me. I can “sit” when asked, walk well on a leash, and come with vet care support for life. I’m an active, happy and loving girl, who’s looking for someone who could be looking for me. Someone to share my retirement with, preferably someone with a soft lap. Do you think we’ve found each other? I do!

Three little puppies. I should say we were three very scaredlittle puppies when my siblings and I were discovered in an unoccupied house. Thank goodness our finder brought us to TALGV, where my brother and sister have already found their new homes. Now it’s my turn! I’m a shepherd mix female with deep brown eyes and a beautiful black coat with touches of white. My favorite things? Belly rubs, play time, and the company of kind people and other friendly pups. I’ve been described as sweet and quiet by my friends, and I’m starting to learn what puppies need to know. Today I’m a happy, playful guy with an adorable teddy bear look. But not too long ago I was lost, all alone on the edge of town and not knowing what to do. Imagine my relief when a wonderful person stopped for me and brought me here! Now I’m safe, comfy, cared for and learning young dog lessons. As my volunteer friends say, I’m good natured but need some guidance (which may previously have been missing from my life). I always welcome company, and my young dog energy makes me eager to play and have fun. Other personality traits?
