Hi… my name is Tinkerbell,

Adopted 4-6-24

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

Originally, when first arriving here, there were three of us; Dotty, Evie, and me. Since the other two were bonded, I was happy to see them go home together, with their new, proud parents. I had joined the little family sometime after the other two, and even though we all got along very well, I never actually bonded with them. I’m an outgoing, self-proclaimed lap dog who’s incredibly sweet. I love people, being petted, and having someone make a fuss over me. I can “sit” when asked, walk well on a leash, and come with vet care support for life. I’m an active, happy and loving girl, who’s looking for someone who could be looking for me. Someone to share my retirement with, preferably someone with a soft lap. Do you think we’ve found each other? I do!

Hi… my name is Rosey,

Adopted with Joey 5-28-23

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

My pal Joey and I shared many happy years with our former person, but things changed, and now we must find someone new to love. As best friends—two little dogs who love, support, and keep each other company—Joey and I must go to the same home. I’m a 10-year-old, 10-pound Poodle mix female who’s been playful with kids, good in the house when our person was gone, and “asked” to go outside. I’ve also been told I’m friendly and very good at cuddling, plus I come with Vet Care Support for Life! Joey has lots of charms, too, and with two of us to love, we could double your pleasure, double your fun. And just think how grateful we’ll be to have a happy home again, together, with someone wonderful like you.

If you are considering adoption, please call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make a date to meet me soon. Kennel appointments are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Lucky,

Adopted 5-21-23

If anyone has the right to lay claim to a name, that would be me! I was found, all alone on a dirt road, in the mountains of Rio Rico. Boy, was I a sight for sore eyes, dirty and covered with thorns and sticks. The lady who rescued me took me to her home where I met her canine family of three, a Husky, German Shepherd, and Golden Retriever. During my stay I enjoyed their companionship. Since arriving at TALGV, I’ve learned how to play fetch with my new toy. I’m a happy, affectionate, playful  fellow who can be protective of my person (barks at strangers). I’ll need some all-around training (house and basics), along with patience and unconditional love. If you’re ready to take that step, I’ll love and follow you anywhere!

If you are considering adoption, please call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make a date to meet me soon. Kennel appointments are between 10 and 2 every day.

Adopted 4-10-23

Codi is a happy, energetic, and social 6-year-old, 8-pound, ShihPoo male that needs a new home. He is crate trained, leash trained, house trained (asks to go out), and obedience trained (sit, down, shake hands and come). He is in good health (teeth have been cleaned recently), is neutered and up to date on shots; his medical records are available. Codi gets along with other dogs but not with cats, is best with adults but may be okay with older children. He loves to sit on your lap or just hang out with his people. There is no adoption fee. If you will welcome Codi into a loving home as part of your family, please call Vickie after 8 a.m. at 520-390-6226.

Hi… my name is Frank,

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION WITH BONDED COMPANION FRANCES

I’m a happy-go-lucky, four-year-old, white poodle mix that was found with my bestie, Frances. It was dark and scary when someone noticed us in the road by Anamax Park and brought us here. If not for this kindness, I’m not sure if I could’ve protected Frances from the creatures of the desert or the cars whizzing by—but I sure would’ve tried. We are lost without each other, so we will need to be adopted together. Not to worry, though, our big hearts have room for you, too. TALGV volunteers say we are mellow, enjoy kissy-faced moments, other dogs, and children. We will need your instruction on basic commands but are so eager to please. Remember, great things come in pairs: shoes, earrings, Peanut Butter & Jelly, and, of course, . . . Frank and Frances.

If you are considering adoption, please call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make a date to meet me soon. Kennel appointments are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Frances,

Adopted with Frank 3-30-23

I’m a four-year-old, apricot/white poodle mix who was found one night on the road by Anamax Park with my bestie, Frank. I was doing my best to protect Frank, even though he thinkshe was protecting me. Luckily, though, someone else protected both of us and brought us to TALGV. I’m a happy-go-lucky, tail-wagging gal who is often spotted smooching Frank. We love each other so much that we will need to be adopted together. Not to worry, though, our big hearts have room for you, too. TALGV volunteers say we are mellow, enjoy kissy-faced moments, other dogs, and children. We will need your instruction on basic commands  but are eager to please. Remember, great things come in pairs: shoes, earrings, Peanut Butter & Jelly, and, of course, . . . Frances and Frank.

Tom

Hi… my name is Tom,

Adopted 4-10-23

Running through pecan trees with my buddies was fun at first. Until we got hungry, thirsty, and our matted, overgrown coats couldn’t keep us warm at night. Then a kind woman entered our lives, picked us up and brought us here, where I’m loving the comforts—regular food, a soft bed, friendly people, and even my spiffy new haircut. I was very shy at my first medical exam, leery about being picked up, but plucked up my courage and tolerated it well.  No doubt I need some training, being on a leash is new to me, but I’m so willing to try. At just about 12-1/2 pounds, I wouldn’t take up much room in your house, but maybe a big place in your heart.  And you in mine. Can we meet and find out?

If you are considering adoption, please call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make a date to meet me soon. Kennel appointments are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Dick,

Running through pecan trees with my buddies was fun at first. Until we got hungry, thirsty, and our matted, overgrown coats couldn’t keep us warm at night. Then a kind woman entered our lives, picked us up and brought us here, where I’m loving the comforts—regular food, a soft bed, friendly people, and even my spiffy new haircut. Medical staff said I was shy at my intake but did very well overall. I’m also discovering there are things I need to learn, including how to walk on a leash, and the volunteers here are helping me. I’m a 2-year-old male, and at just about 14-1/2 pounds I wouldn’t take up much room in your house, but maybe a big place in your heart. And you in mine. Can we meet and find out?
