I’m a happy, fun-loving dog who was especially lucky to be rescued. Found on I-19, I was lost and injured. My broken leg needed repair by a veterinarian. Maybe that help is why I love peopleso much! After that, I lived with my rescuer’s grandparents, but they think I need someone stronger—an active someone, who’d have fun with a lively, friendly dog like me. I’m crate-trained (please know I can jump a 5-foot wall), know some commands, and have been good with other dogs. I’ll gladly show you my favorite toys and maybe you’ll rub my ears, tummy or back—if so, we could be made for each other! I’m a 1-year-old black and tan female, 48 pounds, who more than anything wants the chance to be the dog you’ll cherish forever.
