Hi… my name is Black Velvet,

I’m a real lady of mystery.  Thankfully I was brought to The Animal League where I have been getting every attention. I’m so happy for human interaction that I’ve been known to tuck my head around and purr when I’m petted or brushed. My fur IS very soft and fluffy, just like velvet. I like laps and don’t mind being picked up.  I’m a middle-aged gal who is ready for quiet cuddles, and I’m not too shy to say hello to guests.  Are you looking for such a companion?
