My piercing, thoughtful eyes tell my story. My human lost her income, so she and her teenage son had to move out of state. Since they couldn’t take me, they brought me to The Animal League. They were sad and so was I. Here, I am hiding in a cubby until I get my bearings. However, if you pet and brush me, I respond with purrs! Although I may be skittish with strangers, I’m learning that the volunteers are kind to me. I like feather toys and catnip mice. I like to sleep under the bed or in a lap. I so desire a home of my own. Could that be yours?
