Hi… my name is Percy.

Adopted November 25, 2014.

My mom said I was named Percy because my eyes were so wide when I was just a “runty boy.” Hmm…not quite sure about the connection there, but that’s the deal! She did say that I need a special kind of love — one that’s not “too loud or flashy” because I really get stressed when there’s a lot of “stuff” going on. I am a very sweet, laid back, 6-year-old orange tabby who LOVES to be petted and sleep in your bed (under the covers, if you’ll let me!). I need quiet affection and no other competition — “the sole companion for a person with a sensitive, gentle disposition” they say. I don’t “do” kids well and have never been around dogs, so I’m certain an older, “Green Valley-type person” (you know who you are!), would be just the ticket for me! If you give me your love, I will give it back in spades!
