Mail carriers pick up packages all the time, but it’s pretty unusual when those “packages” are two cats! But that’s what the Good Samaritan postal employee did for my brother, Wilber, and me. After our dad’s home was destroyed in a storm, she agreed to take us in for him “for a while” but then he disappeared. Since she already had three cats, two more were a bit much, so we’re putting our best paws forward in hopes there’s a new place for us around the corner. I’m a loving 4½- year-old who craves attention, adores being brushed (the volunteers can attest to that!), and am super playful. I don’t “do” dogs though, so if it’s just you and me (and maybe Wilbur too?), that’d be the stuff dreams are made of!
