Clouds really can have silver linings and here’s how I know:   Along with another little dog, I was unceremoniously dropped off at The Animal League by someone who then left abruptly. As scary as that was, it turned out to be the moment my silver lining appeared! I was dehydrated and needed medical attention, and immediately those needs were addressed. What a relief to realize that so many people cared so much about me! And along with the important medical care, there was affection, a cozy bed, toys, and a seemingly endless supply of human kindness. Today, I’m a happy 1-year-old Chihuahua female, 6-1/2 pounds, with a tan coat and an adorable face, who dares to believe that there’s someone who will cherish me as much as I cherish them.
