I love kind-hearted people who care about shelter dogs. And I want you to know that for some of us being here is a step up! Take me, for instance (and I really hope you do). After being a lost dog—hungry, lonely, in danger—coming here was joyful. When they first put me in the bath, I sighed with relief. Later, a serious problem arose with my right eye, which had to be removed. But even on the very first day post-op, my human friends could tell I felt much better. I still don’t care for other dogs and so I need a single-dog household—a place for one sweet, attentive dog who gives her whole heart to people. If that can be with you, I’ll be the happiest dog you’ll ever know!
