When I arrived at TALGV, I immediately experienced two big feelings: Happiness at being with friendly people and relief at being cared for and safe. I’d been lost, and the volunteers said I seemed positively joyful to have been rescued. They also saw that I had some skin issues that needed attention and when they first put me in the tub for my bath, I sighed with relief. Later my right eye was removed for medical reasons. Since then, things have gotten even better. I’ve made lots of new human friends; I don’t care for other dogs, and need to be the only dog at home. My whole heart goes to people, and I try to let them know how good I can be—a 2-1/2-year-old, 47-pound female, sweet, attentive, and hopeful that you’ll let me be the lucky dog you love forever!
