Hi… my name is Opal,

I’m a naturally curious pup who likes to take the world in one thoughtful moment at a time. Having a calm, easygoing doggy friend by my side would be perfect for me—it helps me feel safe, grounded, and a little more confident as I explore new things. I’m slowly learning that humans aren’t nearly as scary as I once believed, and I’m beginning to suspect they might actually be kind, patient, and very generous with treats (which I consider a great character trait for 2 leggers). Beneath my cautious exterior lives a soft curiosity, a quiet sweetness, and a gentle sense of humor that reveals itself if you’re paying close attention. I may not rush into the spotlight, but once I trust you, my warmth shines through in subtle, meaningful ways. I’m the kind of pup who blossoms with patience, consistency, and love—and I promise the reward is worth the wait!
