I’m independent, opinionated, and not one for being told what to do. Want to pick me up or put a leash on me? Prepare for a dramatic protest worthy of an Oscar. But if I choose you, in time I’ll warm up and may hop into your lap like we’ve been buddies forever. I’m sweet on my own terms, thank you very much. Hi… my name is PJ (aka Triumph),

Adopted 10-21-25

I was adopted as a puppy, then later returned for being “too much puppy.” Could I be anything else BUT a puppy? I think not! Since coming back, I’ve aced my basic manners and leash training from my two- and four-legged friends. I was lucky enough to be in a foster home where I proudly demonstrated I’m house trained, crate trained, and even learning to ring a bell when I need to go out. I know all the commands, take treats gently, and walk like a pro — though I might occasionally zig-zag like a bird dog on patrol. I’m affectionate, calm, playful in bursts, and always keep an eye on my people. Basically, I’m a 5-Star Dog. Want proof? Check out my foster “Report Card” below. I’ve mastered “How to be the Best Dog Ever 101.”
