What do I have to do to get adopted?!? If you’ve only seen me in my kennel, you haven’t met the real Rella! Out in the world, I’m affectionate, well-mannered, eager to please, and rather charming. At a recent football event, I happily mingled with seven other dogs, lots of people, and little kids, handing out gentle kisses along the way. I’m housetrained, highly food motivated, and happiest with a calm, confident person and a predictable routine. I enjoy walks, play dates with polite dogs, brain games, training, belly rubs, and my signature belly-up turf dance. I’m a bit of an empath and reflect the energy around me, so when I know you’ve got things handled, I can relax and be the sweet, easygoing companion I was meant to be.
