My friend, Ottis, and I lived in the same home for years, but when our human mom realized she couldn’t take care of us anymore due to her own health concerns, she showed us her love once more by letting us go to find new homes. I’m a female Dachshund—my current name might make you think otherwise, but I am a girl—7-1/2 years old, and a standout in the looks department thanks to my beautiful silver dapple coat. I am shy, but reported to be good with cats, dogs, and children in the past. So, once I warm up and feel comfortable, you’ll see how loving I can be.
