I’m a black and brown dachshund mix with a shy side at first, but give me a moment and I’ll be sneaking into your heart (and probably your blanket). I have a talent for the unexpected—funny little hops, curious head tilts, and the occasional zoomie that appears out of nowhere. I may be small, but my personality fills the room! I love gentle company, cozy spots, and kind humans who appreciate a soft soul with a goofy streak. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will quietly adore you and occasionally make you laugh out loud, I think we might belong together.

Winter is an affectionate 5-year-old, 50-pound Dachshund/Staffie mix female who needs a new home. She is crate trained, leash trained, and has some obedience training (knows “sit” and “crate”). She asks to go out and can use a doggy door. She is in good health, spayed, up to date on rabies shot, and medical records are available. Winter gets along with other dogs, cats, and children over 5 years. She loves peanut butter treats, dislikes loud noises, and will play briefly with her ball. She stays off furniture but, if invited, she will be happy to sleep with you instead of in her crate. There is no adoption fee for this sweet girl.
