It was a dark and scary night, I was lost and alone—a 14-year-old, 8-pound female—when the clock struck midnight and a stranger opened his door to me. Yes, I was scared, but this caring person was willing to help. He tried to find my owner via social media and driving around, but no luck. And since my coat was matted and I needed some medical attention, chances are I’d been “out” for a while. But now I’m safe, and even have a foster dad who’s taking wonderful care of me. We go for walks; he makes sure I’m eating well and shows me loving kindness every day. I have Free Vet Care for Life, and a wise little heart that tells me someone will love me just as I am.
