Hi… my name is Arizona.

I’ve got to tell you that I’m really getting lonesome here by myself! I know, with all the other cats around, you might wonder how I can be lonely, but the truth is I’ve been busy raising my six kittens, and now that they’re all gone, I’m having that “empty nest syndrome” that humans fall prey to. I’m only about a year old, so I’m still pretty much a kitten myself (yes, I was a “teen mom”!) and the volunteers all say that I’m one of the nicest, most mellow cats they’ve ever known. I was an excellent mother (that won’t happen again though!), and because I had my babies around me so much, I’m a real lap-sitting snuggle bunny. I’m very unusual in that I’m an orange tabby female, (most orange tabbies are male), so I’d like to share my “unusualness” and my wonderful temperament with someone who will give me one more chance at life.
