Adopted 9-12-24

REBA is a playful, five-year-old, 40-pound Bulldog mix female that needs a new home. She is in good health, spayed, up to date on shots, and medical records are available. Reba is housebroken and asks to go out. She is leash trained, crate trained, and has basic obedience training (knows sit and down). She is good with other dogs and cats; children are unknown. Reba may need a short time and introduction before acceptance of new things. She likes to play and will entertain herself. There is no adoption fee for this special girl. If you will welcome Reba into a loving home as part of your family, please call Ken any time at 530-559-9767.

Hi… my name is Ghost,

Adopted 2-8-24

To begin with I’d like to say…BOO! Now that’s out of the way, I’ll tell you the story about this “Ghost.” After a stay in foster care, I proved to be a gentle, loving boy who’s friendly with people and enjoys getting attention, running and playing around the yard, and following my “mom” around the house. I’m from a home with children, and 19 other cats and dogs. It appears that I probably got along well with all. I’m crate trained, and once I trust that my person will return, I won’t worry about being left alone. I can use a doggie door and ask to go out. After I take care of business (potty), I walk well on a loose leash. Now I’ve shared my story with you, would you please share your home with me?

Hi… my name is Ruby,

Adopted  1-11-23

I am a beautiful, young, brindle girl looking for a loving home. I am small-ish sized (medium at best), and my paperwork says I am a Bull Terrier/Shih Tzu mix.  I am bashful and can be somewhat fearful of loud noises, but I am still young and VERY treat motivated. If you are a patient leader—and have a handful of treats—you and I will be BESTIES. In fact, a volunteer had me eating out of the palm of her hand, and I repaid her with soulful eyes and a few tail wags. Come and take me home today!

Hi… my name is Gavin,

Adopted 2-8-23

It is said that deaf dogs hear with their hearts. I know that is definitely true for me! My friends here say that not only do I appear to be listening when they talk to me, but I also seem to understand what they are saying. I like just about anyone who comes to visit me here, especially when they sit with me and I can curl up to them and have my belly rubbed or my ears scratched. Several volunteers have complimented me for paying close attention to them when we are out and about, and for being well behaved on a leash. I was also introduced to the play yard and I can’t even tell you how much fun that was! I made some doggie friends and hope to meet more! Will you be my friend?

Hi… my name is Daisy,

Adopted 10-15-18

After years together, Vern and I had to say goodbye to our family when they moved to a smaller apartment and we came here. It was a scary change at first, but Vern has been like my brave big brother (he was protective of the teenagers at home), and I’m the loving sister who happily shares my run, food and life with him. We’re from different litters—I’m an 8-year-old female, about 37 pounds, and he’s a 9-year-old male, about 60 pounds—and we have lots in common, too: We each know a few commands, how to use a doggie door, and we like to play! Best of all, each of us is a sweet dog who believes that having a friend makes everything better. If you agree, will you let me be yours?

Hi… my name is Blue Girl,

Adopted August 1, 2016

I was found on my own—lost, hungry, and not sure if I should trust a stranger. But after a kind lady fed me for a week, I decided it was safe to be her friend and that turned out to be a great decision because she brought me here, where there are lots of kind people and they all seem to really like me. They say that people tend to think Bulldogs are cute, cuddly and loveable, and I’m all three! They also tell me I’m very sweet, and all my positives come together to make me a great companion for people. I’m short but wide, around 75 pounds (might be good to drop a few), a 4-1/2-year-old happy female with a beautiful blue-grey coat. How about we find each other today?

Hi… my name is Kevin.

Adopted August 7, 2016

I came to TALGV after being noticed at a gas station on Sahuarita Road, in need of help because I was lost. On that lucky day for me, a kind man gave me a ride to TALGV, where now I’m safe and sound. I’m also happy because I get to spend time with people, which is one of my all-time favorite things. My stocky build makes me look athletic, and I do like going for walks, but my best activity is working hard at people pleasing. I’m a Bulldog/Staffie mix male, white with a big brown spot where my tail begins. If you like me, too, it could be my luckiest day yet. Let’s have a visit and see if we’re ready to share lots of happy days together.
