My brother Tank and I have been together since we were born. Although we are siblings, he is almost twice my size and has always made sure I was okay. He is a great protector and I like to play with him. But it doesn’t mean that we don’t like to snuggle with our people. On the contrary! Tank prefers to sleep in bed with our people and I love sitting on laps! It just takes the two of us a bit to warm up, especially with all the back and forth recently. But as everyone here can tell you, if you give us a little space when you first arrive, Tank will check you out and soon we will be your best friends. Lady Bug

I’m an approximately 8-year-old Chihuahua mix female, the kind of gal that will be a wonderful addition to any loving home. I’m a welcomed guest in my foster home and happily share attention with the six other dogs who reside here. Being playful and exuberant may be fine, but I myself am happy just being mellow and snuggling close to someone on a couch. I’m trained to use a doggy door and the only time I bark is to welcome my “person” when they return home or join in the chorus with my fellow canines. My foster mom says I’m “a little love.” If you would like to add a “little love” to your home, and someone to snuggle with, I’m ready, willing, and available.

Rascal “Flatts”

Hi… my name is Rascal “Flatts,”

Did you know the word “rascal” is an affectionate term usually used to describe a mischievous child (puppy)? Being a rascal isn’t a bad thing… it’s just a “puppy” thing. My previous owner found me to be more of a challenge than anticipated. She’s sad, but believes I’ll be better off in a home where I can get the training I need. In her opinion I’m a smart, very affectionate dog who loves people, is a great snuggler, and plays quite well with other dogs (preferably ones who share my enthusiasm). I’m crate trained (sleep in my kennel all night and when left alone), but not quite house trained. I’m really a “good” boy, who just needs some time, patience, and training to become a “great” boy, but to accomplish that… I need you!

BUDDY is a friendly and social 3½ -year-old, 18-pound, small Whippet mix male who needs a new home. Adopter believes Buddy would be happier with someone who is used to small dogs. He is leash trained, obedience trained, and house trained (asks to go out). He is in good health, neutered, up to date on shots and medical records are available. Buddy is good with other small dogs and cats; he does not get along with other resident large dog. He likes running around at the dogpark and loves cuddling and sleeping close to you.
