According to my former owner, I am a sweet and affectionate 11-year-old, 17-pound Chihuahua/ Jack Russell terrier mix male who needs a new home. I am crate trained, leash trained, and have some obedience training. She says, “He is housebroken and asks to go out. Jack does not get along with large dogs or young children; cats are unknown. He loves to relax and to snuggle but doesn’t require much walking.” TALGV will provide my new owner with Vet Care Support for Life.

I have never been as afraid as I was on that deserted road, with not a single soul in sight. When a car stopped, a lady got out and picked me up, it was then I knew my life was going to change for the better. She kept me for two days then brought me to TALGV where I met many other people who made me feel right at home. I’m a female Chihuahua mix, approximately 5 years old. I can’t explain my life before, or how I came to be in the middle of nowhere, but I can tell you that I really need some love and security in my life. LILY is a mellow 8-year-old, 11-pound spayed female Chihuahua that needs a new home as owner is moving out of the country. She has diabetes and her vision is limited, but she is otherwise in good health, shots are up to date, and medical records are available. She is housebroken and leash trained. Lily needs her insulin injection twice a day following her meals. She gets along with other dogs and cats. She is friendly and adaptable and warms up quickly to new people.

I once belonged to a homeless woman, but she left me with someone else. That person left me outside all day. Then, a kind family took me home and after some time, I became comfortable with them. I was gentle and tolerant with the kids (ages 6 and 15), although scared of small children and other dogs. They loved me for being “VERY sweet,” but staying alone in a crate all day worried me a lot. So here I am—a cute 3-year-old female, who’s still scared sometimes, but loves to cuddle! Thanks to my little size—16 pounds—I could fit perfectly on your lap or by your side, and I’d be so thrilled to have your love and attention. And when would I try to make you happy? Each and every day!
