I need a new home because my person is working so much he feared I was being neglected. It’s true, I have been lonely, even worried sometimes, but here at TALGV, I’ve discovered a fabulous solution: A volunteer takes me to a great big room (well, “great big” from my 8-1/2-pound perspective), and all we do is play and cuddle. There are dog toys, sometimes I run around, and then we just sit and keep each other company. It’s the most fun ever! I’m a 1-1/2-year-old Chihuahua female who loves people—kids and adults, and in the past I’ve gotten along with another dog, didn’t chew on things or make noise. But I do yearn for your company, love and affection. If you have those gifts to give, all I really need is you.

My people gave me up because, they said, I’m “too much of a puppy for being 8 years old.” But from my perspective, that can be a compliment! I’m a senior dog with a young dog’s enthusiasm—I love life and people! Match that with the adult dog things I’ve learned and you have a great canine companion. (Here’s hoping you agree!) For example, I’m housebroken, leash-trained, know some commands, and will sleep in a crate if you like. In my former home, I was okay with kids, liked to play ball, and had no problems around the other animals I met. I’m a very sweet 26-pound Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier mix female, and if you’re okay with an 8-year-old who still enjoys the happy, fun times in life, I’d love to be your dog!

If you’re one of those people, I promise to remain adorable as I grow and learn. We all appear to be a Chihuahua/Terrier mix and I’m the single male in this litter, with a handsome coat of tan and white and big brown eyes, weighing in at around 12 pounds. I am really bonded with my sister Gala so how about we meet, fall in love, and all go home together forever!
