Hi… my name is Rascal “Flatts,”

Did you know the word “rascal” is an affectionate term usually used to describe a mischievous child (puppy)? Being a rascal isn’t a bad thing… it’s just a “puppy” thing. My previous owner found me to be more of a challenge than anticipated. She’s sad, but believes I’ll be better off in a home where I can get the training I need. In her opinion I’m a smart, very affectionate dog who loves people, is a great snuggler, and plays quite well with other dogs (preferably ones who share my enthusiasm). I’m crate trained (sleep in my kennel all night and when left alone), but not quite house trained. I’m really a “good” boy, who just needs some time, patience, and training to become a “great” boy, but to accomplish that… I need you!

BUDDY is a friendly and social 3½ -year-old, 18-pound, small Whippet mix male who needs a new home. Adopter believes Buddy would be happier with someone who is used to small dogs. He is leash trained, obedience trained, and house trained (asks to go out). He is in good health, neutered, up to date on shots and medical records are available. Buddy is good with other small dogs and cats; he does not get along with other resident large dog. He likes running around at the dogpark and loves cuddling and sleeping close to you. I am an old Chihuahua lady and yes, I know, my age shows. (It happens when you are almost 16 years old!) There are the usual aches and pains in the joints, and I’m getting a bit forgetful, too. I still enjoy short walks around the neighborhood though. My favorite place is on the lap of my person. I alert my people when I have to go potty, but sometimes they don’t understand as quickly as I need them to! Are you someone who would not expect too much from me, but can take me into your heart for the time I have left? TALGV provides my vet care support for life, so no need to worry about medications and such. Let’s meet and see how we like each other!

I am a young and energetic chihuahua boy who is looking for a new home. I most recently lived with a family who did not have time for me and I ended up spending too much time in my crate, which was very boring! I rather loved playing with the kids, running outside. I admit I occasionally ran away to do some exploring. They also said I need to learn to tell people when I have to go potty and to walk better when on a leash. I want to learn that! Can you teach me? Here at TALGV they say I am gentle and love to be the center of attention (which is just my due). When you come to meet me, I’ll reward you with lots of doggie kisses and never-ending antics to entertain you.
