Animal League News

Hi… my name is Anna.

Adopted June 6, 2015.

With my perpetual smile and sparkling personality, you wonder how I came to be abandoned at Anamax Park! Happily, the Sahuarita police found me before anything untoward happened, and now I’m here getting lots of love and assurances that “it was nothing I said!” They’re thinking I’ve got lots of Corgi in my genes (the short legs), but I suppose you might also think of me as a “mini-Golden,” as I’m just as outgoing and sweet as they are. Whatever — at 25 pounds and approximately 2 years of age, I’m going to be the best thing you could have done for yourself this summer!

Hi… my name is Buster.

Adopted December 6, 2014.

My family adopted me from TALGV when I was eight weeks old and although they loved me to pieces, I wasn’t getting along with the young kids that visited the house (but I was fine with “my own” kids), so I guess a new home is in my future. My people said that I’m loyal, faithful, very protective of my family, and well, just basically a real sweetheart. I’m about 15 months old now and have turned into an eye-catching mix of Corgi (check out the ears and feet) and Chihuahua (a real surprise if you see my baby pictures!). I have perfect house manners (I can use a doggie door and am crate trained), and love being part of the action, so I’m ready made for a home that will appreciate my attributes!

Arrived September 21, 2014.

Fox

Hi… my name is Fox.

If you’re looking for an interesting mix of breeds in a canine buddy, take a gander at me! I’m a Corgi/terrier gentleman (with emphasis on “gentle”!) who, after living with my family for ten years, has lost his home. They are moving to a place that doesn’t allow pets (that should be against the law!), so it’s a good thing TALGV was here or I’d REALLY be homeless! My people said that a while back there were other dogs and two kids in the house, but lately it’s been just me and my older mom and dad. They said that I’m perfectly housebroken, love to play tug of war, fetch, will run around for hours, and then want to sit with you and get lots of petting. Oh, and since I’m 11 years old now, I qualify for TALGV’s “vet care for life” program, so what’s stopping you from making me your own?
