I’m a medium-sized Shepherd girl who was found as a lonely stray wandering in Ajo. How I became a stray is a mystery, but what is known is: I LOVE people! However, I CAN be selective about my dog friends, so volunteers have introduced me to the play yard where I can practice polite doggie interactions. (If you’re wondering about cats, my instinct is to chase them.) I’m also told I walk well on a leash but seem to have missed lessons on basic commands. I am a Shepherd, though, and that makes me smart; so…with your patient leadership, I know I can become the well-trained, loyal companion that I’m meant to be. Can you see my potential? I’ve got the beauty AND the brains. All I need is…YOU! Come take me home today!

I’m an approximately 2-year-old German Shepherd, and since I’m a big boy (87 lbs.), I’ll probably need a strong handler. Heidi is a sweet, obedient, and loyal 8-year-old, 75-pound German Shepherd female who needs a new home.She is crate trained, leash trained, and thoroughly obedience trained. She is housebroken and asks to go out. She is in good health, spayed, up to date on shots and medical records are available. Heidi is easily trained and is not protective of food or toys, but she does not get along well with other dogs; cats and children are unknown. She can be shy until she gets to know you and has mostly been around men. She likes walking but also likes to relax with her person. There is no adoption fee for this special girl. Just think, a dog with a title! That’s me! I think, as a 12-year-old German Shepherd mix gentleman, I’ve earned it. I love most people of all ages and get along with other dogs (lived with five of them), but I don’t like cats, and I’ll chase rabbits. I’m house trained, leash trained, can use a doggie door, and know how to “sit” when told. I’m a lovable, affectionate family dog who loves to go for walks, and is calm in the house, but I don’t like thunderstorms. Since I’m considered a senior citizen, I come with Vet Care Support for Life. If you take me home, I think you and I could enjoy each other’s company as long as you DON’T have cats.
