My life sounds like a country song, full of long roads and second chances. I’ve known what it means to be lost, found, and lost again. I wandered once, was reclaimed, and thought I was finally home. Then I was left behind, found far from my home, until kind people and a microchip brought me safely back to TALGV. This time, my family didn’t come for me. It hurt, but it didn’t change my resolve to start over. You can’t keep a good woman down, after all! I’m a gentle, sociable husky who’s been wonderful with other dogs, takes treats softly, is ready for a walk anytime, loves adventures, and truly misses the companionship of a family. NOTES FROM FORMER OWNER: LUPITA is a calm and friendly 11-year-old, Siberian Husky/Shepherd mix female whose owner is no longer able to care for her. She is leash trained, house trained (asks to go out), snake avoidance trained, and obedience trained (knows sit, stay, and come). She is in good health, spayed, and medical records are available. Lupita is good with other friendly dogs and children over five years; cats are unknown. She likes hanging out with people, does not bark except when the gate is opened, does not jump on people or furniture.

Sometimes the universe is just on your side, ya’ know? I was running loose with my buddy, looking for my next meal, when someone brought us to TALGV. We weren’t sure if we should be scared or not, but then they gave us SO much good food, a bath, a soft bed, and all of these people who were loving on us, and I realized that this is all okay with me. I like food…a lot…but I also like all the snuggles and cuddles. I’m a handsome, intelligent boy who is excellent on a leash and easy to train due to my affinity for snacks. I’m ready for my own home and family. I trust that the universe will bring me the right person; am I meant to be a part of your family?
