I may be a young pup, but I already know some of the basic commands. I know how to sit, wait, heel, and it’s also been reported that I understand the “off” command. I tend to get excited and somewhat rambunctious when people come to visit, but if you’re willing to be patient and spend time working with me, it shouldn’t take long for me to settle down. I also believe I’m quite intelligent and I’ll make a good student and an excellent addition to your family. I should also mention I’m soft and cuddly! I haven’t been at TALGV for long, but I can see there’s training around the corner. Nothing makes me happier than a job that involves plenty of active exercise. I’m a one-year-old male Husky, and I’m from a long line of “working” dogs. From what I hear through the grapevine, I’m a handsome, sweet boy with eyes you just “have” to see. I’m also curious, playful, exuberant, and really just a puppy at heart. I walk well on a leash and with a little training, I’ll be even better. I’m curious when meeting people and other dogs. Let’s face it; I’ve never met a stranger I didn’t like. I really want to please and by getting some basic training, I can accomplish my goal. I’ll need a secure yard to keep me safe and curb my wanderlust. Could you be my future family? I already know how to sit and lay down. I enjoy playing fetch and I will bring the toy back and drop it gently. I’m treat-motivated, and I’m a gracious gentleman when accepting them. I like to play and get a little mouthy but still gentle. I really love belly rubs and I will reward you with kisses. I have been told that I’m quite a handsome lad. A lovely person found me wandering and, bless her, she stopped for me. However, she was moving and couldn’t keep me forever. I’m a lovely, medium-sized tri-colored husky/shepherd mix girl. TALGV volunteers describe me as sweet and beautiful and maybe you will agree? I walk easily on a leash, and I’ve even found cats to be pretty cool, especially when they stay to be friends with me. I’m a little shy at first but do warm up quickly. People here are super nice, but I would really rather have a special person or family that I could grow comfortable with and who will let me share with them all the good times ahead. I already have good manners, so isn’t that a great start? And, as they say, I’m oh so sweet. I hope you will agree.
