Hi… my name is Ghost (aka Kai),

Adopted by foster family 11-13-25

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

BOO! Did I scare you? No? Good—because I’m more sweetheart than spook. My name’s Ghost, and I’m quite possibly the world’s least scary phantom. I’m living in a foster home now, where I’ve earned the title of “perfect houseguest.” I’m housetrained, leash-trained, loving, respectful, and even put myself to bed at night. I get along great with dogs, cats, and kids over five—basically everyone! I adore walks, snuggles, and being part of whatever’s going on. Life’s been good, but it would be even better with a forever family of my own. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle, all-around wonderful companion who comes with Vet Care Support for Life, I promise to fill your home with laughter, love, and maybe a few friendly “boos.”

If you are considering adoption, please call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make a date to meet me. Kennel appointments are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Neptune,

Adopted 6-14-25

You don’t have to go “under the sea” to find a cheerful, loving, fun friend for your family because here I am! Like my namesake, I love playing in water, I’m very fast, and I have a beard (well, kinda). I am a sweet, playful boy with a big heart and kind eyes. I look smashing in a bow tie, and I’m currently in puppy school learning basic commands and how to walk well on a leash. My doggie family and I were found on our own, and we haven’t enjoyed as many of the comforts of home as some dogs our age. Let’s be friends; you can show me all the fun of having a home, and I’ll show you all the joy of being loved for life.

Hi… my name is Jupiter,

Adopted 6-16-25

Who’s a silly boy? I am! I am a happy-go-lucky goofball who loves people, loves playing, and loves water. I was found with my siblings and, even though we had been through a lot, we impressed everyone with the remarkably sunny dispositions we maintain. I’m a little Retriever (Golden, maybe?), and a little something else, but I guarantee I’m 100% good boy. I’m in school right now and I’m learning sit, lay down, and how to walk nicely on a leash. If you’re looking for a new (probably medium-sized) family member to make your home complete, you don’t have to search the galaxy—I’m right here!

Hi… my name is Winston,

Adopted 6-23-25

While I don’t wish to dwell on scandal, I was, rather unceremoniously, found behind a Walmart. Why I was there is a mystery, even to me. I hadn’t planned on shopping, I lacked both a list and a wallet, and truly, where would I even put a wallet? At a distinguished 8 years of age, I am a proper Heeler mix with impeccable leash manners and a gentle soul. Walks? Divine. Conversation? Delightful. Recently, I’ve completed the procedure that renders one a “responsible canine,” and the volunteers say I’m quite ready to mingle in Play Group—how festive! I enjoy the simple pleasures: companionship, a good breeze, and a quiet spot to observe the world. If you’re seeking a dignified gent with charm and a touch of mystery, I daresay we might be a perfect match.

Hi… my name is Honey,

Adopted 3-1-26

My name fits me pretty well!  I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with patience and gentle voices, I warm up and show my sweet, affectionate side. I’ve been wonderful with other dogs and have shared space with several shelter roommates. Funny thing is… they keep getting adopted. Some folks say I’m a good-luck charm! I could use a little luck myself.  Time in foster homes has helped me shine. I have polite manners, I’m house and potty trained, and I enjoy peaceful walks with my doggie and volunteer friends. I feel especially confident when another dog is around, and I take comfort in calm routines. My friends can’t believe I’m still waiting, but I know the right person will see the gentle soul I am and give me the chance to truly blossom. (1/26)

Hi… my name is Andes,

Adopted 6-4-25

I was named after one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in the world because we share a lot of the same characteristics: I will also be big, and I’m already regal, majestic, and totally awesome. My sisters and I were abandoned when we were small, so we’re still learning what it means to be dogs in the human world. I would love to find a home with another dog or a patient person who could show me all the perks of living with people. They say I am a smart girl, and I love to play with other dogs. I am quiet (for a puppy), very gentle with people, and I learn commands quickly. Once you earn my trust, I will awe you with my loyalty and affection, and we can explore the world (or just the park) together.

Hi… my name is Stella (aka Starr),

Adopted 7-18-25

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

Everyone is in such a hurry these days! Me? I just like to take it easy. I’m a relaxed, older lady who enjoys sleeping on the couch, staying in to binge-watch Netflix, and taking life easy. Unfortunately, my owners of 8 years had to give me up, so I need a new home to call my own. I don’t need much in the way of material things—just a soft place to lay and some snacks—but I appreciate as much love and affection as I can get. I am an excellent walker, housebroken, and I really enjoy a good sniffing expedition. If you’re like me and you prefer a warm bed, a good book, and having someone next to you to enjoy them both, I think we would get along great.

Hi… my name is Jack (aka Lloyd),

Adopted 6-22-25

When I came to TALGV after my owner of eight years had to rehome me, it didn’t take them long to figure out that my favorite things, in order, are: chasing balls, snacks, and chasing balls. Yes, I am an excellent walker on a leash. Yes, I enjoy scratches and belly rubs. Yes, I’m housebroken. They say I’m well-behaved and very sweet (oh, and handsome). The people here really love when I smile at them, and I figured out quickly that smiling gets me plenty of snacks, so I guess I’m also smart. I’m basically the total package! If you have snacks, like throwing the ball, and want a best friend for life, I may be the guy for you. I don’t need a lot, but I can offer a lifetime of love in return.

Hi… my name is Orion,

Adopted with Estela 6-3-25

What is cuter than a Boxer puppy? Me—a Boxer mix! I have all the cuteness and silly antics that Boxers are known for, but I don’t snore nearly as much. I’m a little reserved at first, but I warm up quickly. I love playing with other dogs, and I can hold my own with dogs who are bigger than me. I met a cat once—it scared me, but I didn’t chase it, so these nice people gave me a treat. I am learning to walk on a leash, sit, and follow other commands here in my puppy preschool, and they say I’m a shining star! I’d love to be part of your universe, so come by and see me today.

Hi… my name is Estela,

Adopted with Orion 6-3-25

When the people at TALGV first met me, they knew I was a star, which is how I got my name. My mom is a Shepherd mix and my papa is a rolling stone (er…rolling Boxer, I guess). I was brought in with my siblings so the nice people here could help us find homes. While I’ve been here, I’ve been able to play with dogs (even big dogs, who I really like!), a cat (scary!), and other puppies. I also go to school because I’m a big girl; I know how to do “watch me,” “sit,” and I just mastered “down.” I also learned to walk on a leash like a champ. I’d love to be the star of your family, so come by and see me soon.
