Hi… my name is Kehlani,

Adopted 3-6-24

A year ago, I was fortunate to find what I thought was my Forever Family. Sadly, my owner passed away and other family members couldn’t keep me, so now I’m back at TALGV. But despite losing my family and home, I am a playful, affectionate and VERY happy girl. I have house manners and know how to use a doggie door or ask to go outside. I’ve been good with kids but can be shy with some men. (Maybe I’m playing ‘hard to get’ – LOL!). While I lived with other dogs of all sizes, small dogs (and cats) look more like toys I’d like to chase.  Speaking of toys, I’m passionate about them and treats. Please come meet me and I’ll happily show you why friends say I’m a beauty with brains to match!

Mya

Hi… my name is Mya,

Adopted with Doobie 5-25-23

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

Before coming to TALGV, I lived with my former person for nearly my whole life! But she moved away and couldn’t take me along, so now I’m looking forward to a new home with a new person (or people) to love. My happy dream is meeting someone special who appreciates a gentle, loving dog like me.  Maybe they’ll like my Doberman/ Shepherd look and will probably be glad I’ve learned good house manners in the past; I’ve “asked” to go outside, was good in the house when the owner was gone and lived peacefully with another dog.  For me, TALGV offers Vet Care Support for Life.  From me, I offer the heart of a loyal companion, content just to be yours if that makes you happy, too. Let’s meet and find out if it could!

Hi… my name is Doobie,

Adopted with Mya 5-25-23

When asked to describe me, someone I know said “Gentle, loving, trusts everyone.” Well, maybe not everyone, but I certainly do appreciate the company of kind people. Fortunately, I’m happy to say, the feeling is often mutual. I do try to be a good companion. I’m glad to share a walk, know a few commands, and in my former home I “asked” to go outside, had good house manners when the owner was gone, and lived peacefully with another dog.  Then my former person moved and couldn’t take me along, so I’m ready to find someone new to love.  I’m an 8-year-old Dachshund/Terrier mix male, and cute as can be, I’m told.  But let’s see what you think. Please come visit and we’ll decide together if we can make our own happily ever after.

Tyrus is a friendly and social 3-year-old, 60-pound Australian Cattle Dog mix male who needs a new home. He does not get on furniture but prefers to sleep with you on the bed. There is no adoption fee. Hi… my name is Samuel,

Adopted 5-10-23

A couple of years ago, I was a lost dog who wandered into the yard of someone who said, “Okay, you may stay here.” I earned my keep by being gentle with young children, loyal to my person, and crate-trained (although I was living outside most of the time). But when my people moved, they couldn’t take me along. So now I’m at TALGV, once again making friends and showing what a good little guy I am. Granted, I’ve not been happy around bigger dogs in the past, but I do like people.  Calm and comfortable with the volunteers, they say I’m what humans call “truly good company.” At just over 13 pounds, I’m a 6-year-old little dog with a big heart, hoping you’ll take me home and say, “You may stay here forever.”

Hi… my name is Sadie,

Adopted 6-2-24

I’m a delightful blend of Greyhound and Great Dane wrapped into one gentle, intelligent girl… ME! I’m affectionate and love to cuddle. I walk well on a leash, know several commands and am willing to learn new things. I’ve gotten along with other dogs and children, and I’m good when left alone (in the house). Being a natural runner I should never be off-leash in unsecured areas. I’ll chase any small animals, like bunnies, cats etc., so NO small pets in the home please! In the past, when I’ve been bored, I’ve left home to visit neighbors or just to explore, so don’t leave me outside alone! If you can supply this wannabe couch potato with mental stimulation, take me on regular walks, and love me unconditionally, I’ll be yours forever!
