It was early afternoon in the Rancho Abrego area, and I was starting to get hot and tired. Suddenly, an open garage door was an invitation, beckoning me to go in. Since I’m a calm, friendly gal, the people invited me to lunch before they brought me to TALGV. I’m an approximately 4-year-old Collie mix, and at only 29 pounds I’d make the perfect companion to blend right in with your family. I immediately made new friends with the volunteers. People noticed I’m a little too submissive, but with their encouragement, I’m on the road to becoming a more confident ME! Hear me roar! Just think, a dog with a title! That’s me! I think, as a 12-year-old German Shepherd mix gentleman, I’ve earned it. I love most people of all ages and get along with other dogs (lived with five of them), but I don’t like cats, and I’ll chase rabbits. I’m house trained, leash trained, can use a doggie door, and know how to “sit” when told. I’m a lovable, affectionate family dog who loves to go for walks, and is calm in the house, but I don’t like thunderstorms. Hi… my name is Boscoe,

I wasn’t invited, but for some reason I thought it would be okay for me to join another dog (and owner) on their walk. I followed them all the way to their home. Unfortunately I couldn’t stay with them, so I was brought to TALGV. I’m a handsome young Hound mix, about 3 years old. A volunteer recently stated emphatically that I’m a “really good dog.” She said I walk well on a leash and only tug occasionally in order to investigate a new aroma. I’m curious about other dogs but don’t react to them. I’m hoping that once you catch a glimpse of me and meet me in person, you won’t be able to ignore the fact that we were meant for each other. Then the only person I’ll ever follow home is YOU!
