I’m a very friendly, outgoing chap who loves everybody, and it seems everybody loves me. No brag…just fact! I’ve also been good with children (ages 2, 4, 5, and 6). It’s been mentioned I’m not good with small dogs, and I definitely don’t like cats, especially after one recently scratched and injured my eye. I’m still getting treatment! I’m not crazy about the heat, but I do love going for walks and car rides. I enjoy spa treatments (baths), but hate water hoses. I’m leash trained, good in the house when left alone, and can use a doggy door. I know the commands “sit,” “stay,” and “come.” I’m very affectionate and enjoy attention. Instead of just living the “life of” Riley, why don’t you take me home and live your “life with” Riley!

It’s bad enough when people throw litter from their cars, but it’s carrying things too far when they throw out an innocent puppy. That would be me, Winston! Thankfully someone saw what happened and came to my aid. When it was decided I was okay, I was invited to stay with the nice people until they brought me to TALGV. They said I’m a very sweet boy who got along with their cats and small dogs. I even sat when told (sometimes). After all, I’m only about six months old! Naturally I’ll need training to help me become a well-mannered adult. Right now I’m just a wiggly, playful, happy pup that would really appreciate a forever home, filled with love. Why don’t you visit and spend some time getting to know me. You won’t be sorry!

Nubia and I have been together since we were born. Although we are siblings, I am almost twice her size and have always made sure she was okay. You know: protect her from strangers, snuggle at night, and play with her. But it doesn’t mean that we don’t like to snuggle with our people. On the contrary! I, for one, prefer sleeping in a real bed over one made for dogs. It just takes the two of us a bit to warm up, especially with all the back and forth recently. But as everyone here can tell you, if you give us a little space when you first arrive, I will check you out and soon Nubia and I will be your best friends. I’m a sweet little treat, just like my name: Snickers! My two previous owners both said I was the sweetest, most loving dog they’ve ever had. I was brought here because neither could take care of me any more. I’m told I’m a Poodle mix, which means I’m smart and love to sit on laps. I’m good with just about everybody – cats, dogs, kids, and adults. Give me a box of toys and I’ll dive in head first, entertaining you with my antics. I’m 12, have Vet Care Support for Life, and am house-trained but have a little dribble problem. I can’t help it due to a birth defect that affects my plumbing. It never dampens my joyful spirit, though, and I’m happiest being at home, cuddling up with my humans. I just need to find “home” again.
