Hi… my name is Suzy,

I am a young, fun-loving, and affectionate beagle and heeler mix who originally came to TALGV as a puppy. Someone threw me from a car back then, but I have a new hip, so you wouldn’t know it! My former family says I got along really well with the kids and the cats – just not so much with the other dogs. They also said I was well behaved while I lived with them and that I walk nicely on a leash. I know the sit and wait commands, and I even give High Five’s! I love walks and to  play fetch with my favorite ball, and so far I’ve liked everyone I’ve met. I also enjoy cuddles and snuggling up to my person. Can we snuggle up together on your couch?

Hi… my name is Bridget,

Adopted 11-30-21

I’ve recently been returned to TALGV, and even though I’m comfortable here, I personally prefer living in a “regular”    home. People from my past have commented that I’m well behaved, affectionate, and love people and other dogs. I’m happy playing with anyone who’s willing to play with me. It’s  also been mentioned that I am snuggly, loving, and calm; just ask about me when we meet in person. I can guarantee you one thing, my sweet personality and good disposition haven’t changed over the years. Now I have one goal, and that’s to find my own “forever” home. Maybe you have one you’d like to share with a mature Hound mix gal, if so please arrange for our meet and greet. I hear that the third time’s a charm. You could possibly be that charm I’m looking for!

Hi… my name is Baby,

Adopted 11-19-21

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

When I first arrived at TALGV my left eye looked so bad they took me to the veterinarian who performed necessary surgery and removed my eye. I’m doing quite well, thank you! I’m recuperating in a great foster home where my foster parent reports that I’m polite, well mannered, and a “pure joy” to have in the home. I’m very affectionate, love people, and I’ll happily welcome everyone. I  know the commands “sit,” “stay,” “shake,” and “no,” and walk very well on a leash. I can be curious about other dogs, and I have good manners with them. In fact you can ask the home’s resident dog, who’ll tell you that we get along great. When I’m ready to leave this home (with Vet Care Support for Life), I’ll be ready to  enter yours, so please put out your “WELCOME” mat for me!

Hi… my name is Grace,

Adopted 11-6-21

I’m a 9-month-old female Lab/Heeler mix, who feels a little lost and anxious. You see, everything is strange to me, and I’m trying to adjust to my new surroundings and canine neighbors. I’m curious about other dogs, but I don’t know how to approach them! I’ve been told excited barking isn’t the correct procedure. What I do love are the people who come to visit me. It doesn’t take long for everyone to see what a lovable, happy, playful pup I am. Imagine the kind of dog I’ll become once I’ve learned some basic commands. I don’t need a lesson to know I’m ready for a loving forever home. Are you ready to share YOURS? Hint: Do you know what happens when you take the Yout of YOUR home? It  becomes OUR home!

Pua

Hi… my name is Pua,

Adopted 11-7-21

Don’t let my name fool you! Since pua is Samoan for “flower,” you may think I’m of the female persuasion, but I’m actually a four-month-old male Terrier mix puppy. I’m lucky to be staying in a good foster home that comes with a rather large year-old pup as a playmate. My foster mom reports that I’m a happy, affectionate, loving boy who’s in the process of learning what potty training is all about. I’m getting better, but not quite there. Hey, I’m just a puppy! Besides I already know how to sit and come when told. My “mom” also mentions that I’m smart and easy going and just need more puppy training. I do enjoy a friendly, comfortable lap, and in my opinion it’s the perfect place to be. Do you have a home (and lap) available for me?

(Note: Pua means “flower” in Samoan)
