Once upon a time, I was a show dog. Today, I’m retired—a wonderful new stage of life for me, but it’s come with some challenges. Recently, my person moved to a nursing home, and my lifelong canine buddy was adopted. Suddenly, I’m alone, and right now I’m lonely—but maybe not for long. In the past, I lived with another dog and a cat, learned commands, and I’m leash-trained, so it’s fair to say I’m good company. My friends call me “a sweetheart,” and I find many things in life to enjoy: treats, attention, walks, a ray of sunshine, and a lap to cuddle in. At 10 years old, I come with Free Vet Care for Life, and the hope that it’s never too late to find someone to love. How about you?
