Hi… my name is Minnie,

Adopted with Daffy 8-25-23

I was left in a crate, along with my two sisters and mom, outside TALGV. I’m a 4-month-old Rottweiler/Shepherd mix. Mom says we look more like dad, but you can see a little of her, especially in me. One of my sisters has already been adopted and I’m hoping someone will take me home soon. I’m at the age where I’m ready to be taught proper manners, like potty training, leash walking, and other important things that will help me become a well- behaved adult. Of course, there’s also learning how to “sit,” and the rest of the basic commands. A patient, loving person can help me learn everything I need to know. You can reward me with treats when I’m good and before long you’ll be rewarded with a faithful companion for life.

Zee

Hi… my name is Zee,

Adopted 7-30-23

So there I was with my friend, in a cinema parking lot, with no way to buy food or escape the heat. Thankfully, a Good Samaritan was able to get us to TALGV where, despite having our names on our collars, it was determined that we had no microchips to locate our family. Oh, well, I live in the here and now and am an easy-going guy, so here’s the deal: I’m young, friendly with other dogs, have learned that that walking on a leash is a collaborative effort with a human. I will do almost anything for a treat. Many volunteers (my new friends) have commented on what a great boy I am – and handsome, too! Do you have space in your heart and home where I can hang out?

Hi… my name is Lefty,

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

My heart is in the process of healing. Not only did I lose my home, I also lost the most important people and the only family I’ve ever known since they adopted me as a puppy over twelve years ago. I’m fortunate to be in a foster home where my broken heart can mend. I’m shy when first meeting new people, but I’m a friendly girl, accustomed to a quiet home.  I do enjoy walks where I can inspect all the wonderful scents and enjoy the outdoors when it’s cool outside. Since I’m one of the amazing Senior dogs, my adopter will get the added benefit of my having Vet Care Support for Life.  Please check back for updates as my foster mom learns more about me, but make an appointment to meet me soon.

Hi… my name is Sedona,

Adopted 9-2-23

Like the famous town known for its peacefulness and beauty,  I long for a forever home where calmness reigns. My prior environment was like living in New York City: too much of everything – people, activity, noise. It’s overwhelming for a 30-pound adorable girl with big ears like me. Now that I’m at TALGV, I’m finding my inner peace while enjoying the security my crate provides me. The human friends I have made here know that I will be their BFF for treats. I love toys, know several commands, and am house-trained.  I’m working on my leash manners so that we’ll be able to leisurely explore our surroundings together. Are you an introvert like me, preferring small groups over crowds? Peaceful over hyper? Relaxed vs. restless? If so, we won’t need much more than each other.

Mya

Hi… my name is Mya,

Adopted with Doobie 5-25-23

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

Before coming to TALGV, I lived with my former person for nearly my whole life! But she moved away and couldn’t take me along, so now I’m looking forward to a new home with a new person (or people) to love. My happy dream is meeting someone special who appreciates a gentle, loving dog like me.  Maybe they’ll like my Doberman/ Shepherd look and will probably be glad I’ve learned good house manners in the past; I’ve “asked” to go outside, was good in the house when the owner was gone and lived peacefully with another dog.  For me, TALGV offers Vet Care Support for Life.  From me, I offer the heart of a loyal companion, content just to be yours if that makes you happy, too. Let’s meet and find out if it could!
