I’m adorable. Don’t you think so? It’s what they tell me, anyway. I love to play with toys and chase them, but if I can sit on your lap and get scratched, I’ll be just as happy to cuddle and give you kisses in return. There are a few things I need help figuring out yet, such as how to make you humans understand that I need to go potty, for example. But I do okay walking on leash alongside my person and, as they say, I’m highly trainable, especially if there are treats involved! I really like people and I like other dogs, too. But while I get along fine with them, I can be a bit bossy and not all of them like that. Can I be your adorable Scottie?

I am a really friendly, medium-sized black Labrador retriever and terrier mix who is full of energy and love for life! I’m only two years old and some of my favorite things are to play and run, or better yet, go on car rides to new places to play and run! I would like to live with someone who enjoys the outdoors as much as I do. Perhaps we could go hiking together or take lots of walks? I already know a few basic commands, and I also know how to tell someone when I need to go outside. I’d like to learn more and be a loyal buddy forever. Do you know that I am famous? My picture was on the front page of the TALGV newsletter! I’m the handsome one on the left, by the way. Where I used to live I didn’t meet too many new people. That’s why I’m still a bit shy around strangers. I like being petted, and deep down I am a really friendly guy, but I need you to give me some time to get to know you. I am also learning to walk nicely on a leash and the volunteers here are teaching me commands like “sit” and “stay” and other stuff. I think I’m pretty smart, so I’ll get the hang of it soon! Now that my two sisters have found their forever home, I’m looking for mine. Can we try together?

Now how can you not love this face? My pal Sherman and I arrived here due to a life change at home. I am an energetic happy-go-lucky guy who loves milkbones, carrots, and ice cubes. Oh, and socks, did I mention I love them, too. I’m crate trained, house broken and sometimes I get a little too excited, so I hyperventilate. I really want your personal attention, so just pet me and I calm right down. Let me mention also that I can help you with the housekeeping. Being low to the ground I’ll pick up everything.
