A short time ago, I was a lost little puppy. But then I was rescued and, needless to say, that day changed the path of my life entirely. Now I’m free to be happy—eager for each new day of play and having fun. At just 4 months of age, I still have things to learn; the volunteers report I “correct easily,” so that will be helpful as I become the best little dog I can be. A Terrier mix male, I’m now 14.8 pounds with a short white coat and sweet brown eyes. I’m energetic, but also can be easy-going—a friendly dog who enjoys company and wants you to be happy, too. So let’s meet! If we find each other irresistible (paws crossed we do), we could be happy together forever!

“Smart, loving, housebroken.” I recently spent a couple of days with people who observed those three wonderful qualities in me. They praised me for other things, too: “Walks on leash, nice to people and other dogs, rides in car well, sleeps in crate.” All this and energy, too. Indeed, as a 6-month-old terrier mix, you could say I’m full of energy! At just 23 pounds, I can jump a 5-foot fence, so I’m definitely not a dog to be left alone in the yard. Besides, I love company and can be good company, too. People say I’m adorable from the tip of my curly tail to my beautiful dark eyes, and I say I’m just a girl who wants to have fun. Will you give me the chance for an active, happy life with you?

Sometimes being sweet and adorable isn’t enough to keep you safe. I was found alone and vulnerable at the Canoa Ranch Rest Stop—very scared, hungry, with an injured hip, abrasions and lacerations. Wow. Was that really me? Today, I’m a happy guy enjoying comfy, carefree days. The volunteers say I am friendly, get along with other dogs, and I’m very fond of my people friends, too. My wounds have healed and although my hip isn’t perfect, I get around just fine. And through it all, I’ve continued to be sweet and adorable—a fawn-colored, 2-year-old Terrier mix male, 22 pounds, for whom the best is surely yet to come. And I’m hoping here’s where you come into my story, adding what I still need most—love forever and a happily-ever-after home with you.

My buddy Keta and I were great pals to our family, but there was one thing we couldn’t fix: The kids were allergic to us. So now we’re available to join another family—a household of one or more. I’ll probably make the change just fine because I love big people and kids of all ages (Mom said I was great with her babies); I was born to be a loving, loyal companion. And my people friends appreciate my good manners—housebroken, leash-trained (can walk on a V-leash with Keta), know several commands, and love the car cause it means being with you. Plus, I’m a world-class snuggler! A handsome terrier mix male, tan, 34 pounds and 9 years old, there’s lots to love about me. If you agree, we should be together!
